I was born in Tuscaloosa, AL and grew up from the age of 5 in Palm Beach County, Florida. After a successful career in Commercial Insurance as an underwriter, salesperson and office administrator, my family and I moved to Franklin for an improvement in our quality of life. Having grown up in Florida before the mad rush, we longed for the more rural and peaceful life style of our youth. We purchased a small farm property in the Burningtown area of Macon County. I worked a little over a year with Stanberry Insurance in Sylva while settling in and obtaining my Real Estate Brokers License. I began actively selling real estate in Franklin in the spring of 1995. My husband Stan and I have 2 children, Bart, who works with me in Real Estate and Amanda, a recent graduate of the University of TN, College of Veterinary Medicine. My outside interests include sheep, goat and donkey farming as well as the preservation and raising of small wild and hybrid cats. My husband and I operate Belle Hollow Farms and Exotics and actively support the Macon County 4-H Market Lamb Program. I am currently serving as the Secretary of the Feline Conservation Federation, an international group dedicated to the preservation of all wild feline species and the propagation of wild felines in captive environments for the purpose of education, and gene pool preservation.

I am a full time Realtor and am comfortable selling all types of properties, homes, farms, lot, vacant land tracts or commercial and do not specialize in any specific type of property. I have been very successful in the acquisition or sale of large land tracts for development and the process of creating upscale communities. I am not afraid to get out of my car and walk the mountains. I have derived a great deal of satisfaction from my Real Estate career, which has been lucrative and allowed me to help many clients with the same transition my family made.

Bart (William B. Ethredge)

I was born in West Palm Beach Florida and moved with my family to Franklin in my senior year of High School. Upon graduation I joined the United States Navy and served 3 years on the Aircraft Carrier George Washington. After returning to Franklin I took a position as a supervisor for a nationwide resort bridge building company and traveled the United States for almost 6 years. I have seen many beautiful places. In 2005, after the birth of my daughter Madison, I returned to Franklin once again to settle down and start a career in Real Estate. I secured my North Carolina Real Estate Brokers License and now work in the business with my mother Betsy and my best freinds wife, Kellie. My interests include fishing,watersports, target shooting and all terrain vehicles . I look forward to meeting you and showing you why Franklin NC is the best place in the world to call home.
